California trip part V

LA BABY

 Did lots of fun things in LA this summer, mostly around eating since I had been on a strict diet for the 4 months previous.  We went to Cheesecake Factory, In and Out Burger, oh gosh, so many places.. Cupcake shops, Pinks, we went to the beach and shopping. It was a lot of fun, didn't do disneyland or universal this year, I don't think I could of done all that alone. Last year was tricky enough and I had Ryan's help.

 I think we were in Santa Monica this day. I know I threw my neck out driving on the grapevine and spent a few days at a chiro there... still worth it though...

 Here's a few pictures with my old friend Becki, we were BF's in 6th grade and went through JR High and High school together and even BYU, we both married Ryan's and stay in touch.  She is so nice to always have us come visit. She has 4 kids, and we have lots of fun together! 

We stopped by Palm Desert on our way back to Utah to visit Gramma Vik, who was my Dad's wife from about the time I was 15 to a few years ago..

We went to see my 3rd dad Craig at his photography studio in Fresno, after our trip to Auberry, but on our way to LA.. He took a few minutes and did an impromtu photo shoot with the kids  on a green screen and then did a fabulous picture of them..  

 I met my cousins and Grandma Mary Ann (My Grandpa Marvin's wife) when she got back from Ireland.  We went to lunch and had a blast. These are two of my cousins from Aunt Rita. Aunt Rita has 3 girls, and my Aunt Anita has 3 boys.

California Trip June 2011

Lots of posts to catch up on.. I have been MIA, too much time on FB instead of my blog, but I need better things to take up my day, and this is my way of journaling, so there you go.
We started out the trip, headed to Logan Utah. The next day, we made it to Zephyr Cove, NV, which is the Tahoe area, then the next day made it to Fairfield, CA for a few days.  Got to see lots of my Mom (Mata's family) and Dad (Rods family).  My dad (Brian) caravaned with me at least til Tahoe and that was fun too.

I love how skinny I was and how much blonde was in my hair, oh how 8 months changes everything. :(

 Me and Auntie Sally (a dear friend from Clovis) we stayed in Zephyr Cove one night and her and Ron's house. Tahoe is seriously so beautiful, I really could live there!

 I have problems getting these pics in order, but we stopped in Logan Utah the first night and stayed with Ryan's brother Kevin and his wife Julia and their 4 kids.  It was really fun, fast, but so nice of them. They had a little nice dinner waiting and my dad (Brian) got to come along, (he rode his motorcyle, caravaning)

New Summer Haircuts!!

I don't know why I can't keep up with this blog.. but the girls got cute haircuts the other day and I wanted to post them.. Maddie got highlights again! I know, she's 12...

Ok, but it was better than a hair cut and fun for summer.. We are headed to CA on sunday, and have lots of fun things planned.
