Here are some pictures from the Christmas program last night. It was so cute, and didn't seem as long, but maybe because I have so many kids, I wasn't waiting around all night to see one of mine.. I am always amazed at how much work Susan Neves puts into these concerts. She does such a good job! Maddie was a trooper, even though she was getting sick and really didn't feel good. I was trying to see the difference that all those years of dance lessons have had on my kids, however, I couldn't tell the difference. Oh well, everyone did such a good job!

Piano Recitals, Thanksgiving and Dance Performances, OH MY
Well, I did remember my camera at the piano recitals, but I was so busy, I forgot to take pictures of my kids performing their pieces, but I guess that's to be expected since I was putting on the recitals. They went good, and played very well.
Thanksgiving was nice. Mom and Dad came for dinner, and then we got out all of our Christmas decorations and all of a sudden Mom and Dad both went home to Powell, I guess that was a hint we had a big project ahead of us. Brenda and I went to Billings late that night to get ready for our Black Friday shop a thon. It was really fun, we found a 30 dollar room on priceline, and got up at 3:30am and shopped til we couldn't shop anymore. (or til I was having too many braxton hicks) Then these last 2 weeks, Maddie has had some jazz performances in Cody, first at the Assisted Living Center, the Buffalo Bill Historical Center Museum, and then today at Wells Fargo. I think she is really enjoying dance this year, as well as Sydney and Abby. They all love it! It's been a busy month, but that's good, because it's making this pregnancy go a little faster. On Monday, I was measuring 34 1/2 weeks, so hopefully he will get here soon. I'm pretty uncomfortable!!

They also went to Powell on Friday and went up and down Main street trick or treating the businesses. We are about sugared out!!

Abby's Ballet Class and Monkey girl
This is Abby's first year of dance and loves it very much. She takes ballet and tap, and I finally remembered to put batteries in the camera. She is excited for Halloween this year, and is going to be a monkey and a cat. She started out the party week with a playgroup halloween party this morning, and was a little grumpy about having her picture taken, but was pretty happy later on.. so we got some pictures of her. She is a party girl, with 4 days to celebrate!

Only the best news ever.. we are having a...

BOY!! Can you even believe it? We were pretty excited today to have an ultrasound today and it's 100% boy, so McKay will finally get a brother. Although this pregnancy was a total surprise, and I mean shocking life altering change, I think these last few months will be a little easier. It's hard to believe that last time Ryan and I went in for an ultrasound where the technician told us we were having a boy, it was June of 1995. So, this little baby will have a 14 year old brother (yes, McKay will be 14 next month.. *sigh*) and 3 little mommies who will get to have a real life boy doll baby to play with. Abby wanted a "dirl" but was pretty excited to tell people she is getting a brother. McKay was in Pete Davidson's science class today and asked him if he could call us (during class) to find out if it was a boy or not... and of course Pete let him. I just love Burlington. P.S. And I am sure our unborn child will appreciate his mother plastering his private nether regions all over the internet...

Abby's 2nd Day of School and Bus Ride
First Day of School
Well, the first day of school was Wednesday, and poor Maddie set her alarm to 5:45am to put her new contacts in, and had such a tough time. Note to self: Don't get your child new contacts the day before school starts. She needs lots of practice, but she will get the hang of it.
McKay started 8th grade, Maddie 5th, Sydney 2nd, and Abby started Preschool at Burlington.
