Here are some pictures from the Spring Piano Recital, and Jackson's first time in a pool. He loved that great big bathtub with both of his parents holding him for such a long time. He slept really good that night!!

Spring Dance Recital

Well, a normal person would be exhausted from the longest day ever, but not me, I had to put some of the pictures up from the girls dance recital tonight. Abby did ballet, Sydney tap, and Maddie Jazz. It was Abby's first year, and the older girls are putting on the ballet Don Quixote tomorrow, so I will add more pictures. I am ready for May to be over!!

Burlington pRoM

Gina (Ryans sister) is visiting from Utah (with Ryan's Dad and a couple of her boys). We just went to the Grand March for Prom. It was fun to see everyone all dressed up. My darn camera didn't take great pictures of all the kids, (which I tried) but here are a few I did get!

16 years ago...

Ryan asked me out on our first date. *awwww* Wasn't he a smart man? I was pretty smart to go. He says he still remembers me waiting for him on campus, reading a work and the glory book (probably the first one),as he walked up to meet me for a dance concert that we went to.
I love you Ryan, hope you and McKay are having a fun and safe couple of days in Laramie. Good luck at History Day McKay!

Jack is 3 months old

How can our new baby be 3 months old already? Here are a few snapshots of him. He loves to smile, but when I get him to, I can't take the picture fast enough!

CaLiFoRniA

This isn't even a third of the pictures we have of our fun vacation to LA this last week, but I guess this is enough for the blog. :) We had a great time in California, it was so nice to just get away and have a family vacation that we have been planning for 5 years. We did everything we could in one week, Disneyland for 3 days, Hollywood, the beach for 2 days, Becki and I got Mani/Pedis, we went on a boat, saw some good shows, shopped til we dropped, (bought a coach purse.. oops) rode every ride we could think of, until we were ready to go home, and enjoyed a nice rental van (it was new) We had lots of adventures, with the plane rides, eating out, car sickness, getting a little lost, staying in such nice houses, losing things,:( poor mckay, but it was the best vacation that we have had since Chicago. The kids were great on the plane, we loved visiting the Harveys, so excited to eat at IN and OUT, and loved the beach. Disneyland and California Adventure was so fun. We accidentally stumbled upon a movie premiere, and went to the American Girl Store. The girls loved it. It was such good weather, it was hard to come back to the cold. I hope these memories will last through the summer (because we aren't doing this again for a long time:)
