New York

Warning* a lot of pictures to follow

This was such a wonderful trip. We found tickets on priceline for 400$ roundtrip to New York and couldn't pass it up! So for Ryan's 40th birthday (and my 37th) and our anniversary and christmas all rolled into one, we decided to make our wildest dreams come true and go on this trip without our kids.  We went to two broadway shoes.  We saw Wicked again,  and Once, they were both so good. If we had more money we probably would of seen two or three more shows.

We took lots of tours, double decker bus tours all through manhattan.. took harbor tours to the statue of liberty, holland tunnel, and brooklyn , went under all the bridges and saw the city from the water.  WE did a night tour where it was a 3 hour drive all through the city and got lots of beautiful pictures.

We were there from Wed to Monday so we pretty much did everything we wanted to do, walked everywhere, took taxis, subways, buses, boats, every way to travel that we could...

The nicest thing about the trip is that when we got home McKay made us the coolest video, slide show with three or four songs and all of our pictures, and videos and everything.  It was so sweet. Anyone who wants to come over and watch it, it is pretty fancy and professional with credits and fanciness all about it.  What a nice momento for our trip.  All we got him was a shirt that said, cool story bro.

Rockefeller Center

Times Square

Central Park on a Sunday

Once, the most romantice musical on Broadway, (I bawled like a baby)

What a fun trip for you and Ryan. It's not often you get away without the kids.
